Following a recent Initiation Retreat, immersing in erotic meditation and kundalini practices with a wonderful group in Rennes les Bains, I took some time out, a couple of days of self-discovery in a 16th Century castle, namely, chateau-des-ducs in Couiza. This time allowed for contemplation and re-integration.... And it was clear what I was then guided to do-
A pilgrimage of passion to Rennes-le-Château, a mysterious in the sense that it has been cut off from the march of time and has barely changed over the last few centuries. Located on a 1,500 foot hill above the twin villages of Couiza and Montazels it remains out of sight to all but the discerning eye. And yet it is not a town where nothing ever happens, for over at least the past two thousand years, the site of Rennes-le-Château has attracted Celts, Romans, Visigoths and Merovingians, Cathars andKnights Templar, all of which have added to its seductive qualities.
As I began my climb up the winding road to Rennes le Chateau (pictured), feelings of universal compassion, love and peace fueled my steps and the warm sun gave me strength in my solitude... An expansive extra-sensory presence alchemised what may have been suffering (with my already blistered feet) to a communion with nauture and all-that-is, allowing a lightness of being and joy to radiate outwards....
